What you will do

Join for an evening of Malaysian food and storytelling at Lian's house. Lian Henriksen is a published author and experienced storyteller who has more than 30 years building communities through her work. She runs storytelling circles and runs the Global Grandmothers Network, connecting generations across cultures.

Lian will prepare a three-course Malaysian meal with dessert, while guiding the evening’s discussions around life’s big questions, culture, and the stories behind the food. This is an opportunity to experience Malaysian cuisine and engage in meaningful conversation, in a relaxed, homemade setting.

Important: minimum six people needed for the experience to happen.

    Lian Henriksen is a published, former businesswoman and entrepreneur, who now focuses on facilitating storytelling circles and connection through true community building. Lian leads the Global Grandmother’s Network, to build connection across generations and cultures. Lian is guided by literature and the wisdom and references of others. Her work is guided by the belief that “listening without judgment creates a rare and meaningful connection, rooted in our shared humanity.”
