Niels is a distinguished Danish architect who, among other projects, designed with Sir Denys Lasdun the Royal National Theatre of London. At his age of 70 he moved to New York city to study cinema as a hobbie. He is also an artist, photographer, and traveller. With a career spanning various artistic disciplines, Niels continues to inspire with his boundless creativity and unwavering passion for the arts.
The night of films and conversations with Niels Wamberg will be hosted in an atelier in the heart of Copenhagen, right in front of the majestic Marmorkirken! Join us for an evening of inspiration, stories, and an adventurous spirit at this event: bring your questions and life anecdotes for a meaningful conversation.
Tia Hóka, a radio host and sound editor, well-versed in public speaking, will lead the post-film conversations about Niels' passion for cinema, architecture, and traveling around the globe on his life's journey.
Noteworthy: You'll see two short docufilms in Danish with English subtitles. Conversations will be led inEnglish.

With an honorary membership from Indiana Society of Architects, USA and a passion for cinema that led him to study in New York at the age of 70, Niels is a true visionary. Currently, Niels is part of a radio program (radiojazz.dk), also serves as the chairman of an artist association and creates sculptures, among others. He created more than 40 documentaries showcasing humanity, architecture and culture around the world. Human tip: Niels drinks more than 10 espressos a day and loves sharing letters with friends. Come, be a part of this vibrant evening, and be inspired by Niels' fascinating journey through the lens of cinema, all while enjoying a nice espresso.
