Come hear stories of Copenhagen you can only get the chance to hear from Jesper's bike seat! Jesper is one of our original Silvers—you might know him from his beloved 'Full Moon Swimming' sessions. Jesper has been biking through the streets of Copenhagen for over 60 years, collecting stories and waiting for the perfect moment to share them. Now Jesper wants people to join him for his newest experience, 'Biking with Jesper'! He begins at Ballon Park in Amager and goes through a 5km route, ending at Badehavnsgade in Sydhavn. Jesper is a longtime Amager local with countless stories and will guide you through a what he calls a 'mini Christiania', where he'll show a side to Copenhagen you haven't seen before, with his personal stories that bring the bike paths to life.Along the way, we’ll take some pitstops to meet some of Jesper’s friends (hello and goodbye!). It’s the perfect mix of community, history, and storytelling, and a side to Copenhagen that very few people get to see.

Jesper is an authentic visual artist mainly working with photography and video since 2005. In 2009 he started doing his umbrella videos. He also makes documentaries, mainly in cooperation with performance friends. His favorite shooting hours are Sunrisetime and the blue hour at the end of the day. Jesper gave birth to Berlin Soup The International Festival of the ARTS together with his friend the multiartist Lennox Raphael in 2012. Since 2013 The Festival has been held in Berlin, Copenhagen and Athens. He loves biking, meeting new minds, and sharing stories. Human tip: He loves umbrellas.
